AMAZON SCAMMED YOU! Claim Your Money Before It Disappears
Amazon pays millions for its scams. Your check could be lost today.
Red Alert! You Could Be Throwing $51 in the Trash
Have you ever felt that subscribing to Amazon Prime was too easy, but canceling was an impossible nightmare? You weren't crazy, you were the victim of a masterful scam! The e-commerce giant has been forced to pay a record $2.5 billion fine after being caught using "dark patterns": manipulative web designs created specifically to confuse you and extract money from you without your explicit consent. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) exposed how Amazon "sabotaged" its users' willingness, trapping them in recurring subscriptions.
Now, the company is striking back... at its own wallet. Thousands of envelopes are arriving in mailboxes this month, and many are making the fatal mistake of mistaking them for junk mail or advertising. Beware! That envelope contains a real check. If you ignore it or tear it up, you're giving your money back to the company that deceived you. This isn't a sweepstakes or a promotion: it's legal restitution for the breach of trust suffered by millions of consumers for years.
The clock is ticking. Unlike other refunds waiting in your account, these checks have an expiration date. Bureaucracy and inattention are corporations' best friends; don't let them keep what's rightfully yours.
Rescue Guide for Your Refund:
The Trap Period: If you subscribed (or were subscribed "by mistake") between June 23, 2019, and June 23, 2025, you are on the list of potentially affected individuals.
Identify the Payment: If you didn't receive an automatic deposit to Venmo or PayPal between November and December, the money is on its way by mail to your registered address.
The Deadline: You have exactly 60 days to cash the check from the date it is issued. If you wait 61 days, the check is worthless.
Maximum Amount: The average check is for the full or partial subscription, up to a maximum of $51.
Second Chance: If you believe you qualify and haven't received anything (digital or physical), be prepared: Amazon will open a manual claims process sometime in 2026. Stay alert.
